A warden’s job sounds mighty appealing – spending all your working hours in the woods or on the water. That is, until a chill north wind blows needles of sleet into your face. In frosty conditions like these, you’ll need the kind of intrepid protection favored by outdoorsmen since the 1880s. Inspired by the classic Jones cap, our bucket-style version has extras that the original lacked. A rugged waxed canvas shell repels sleet, drizzle and snow. The brim folds down in back for extra protection from heat-sapping wind. There’s a toasty fleece lining in the crown and fleece-lined flaps pull down to shelter ears from biting cold. It’s your license to defy winter.
